Techbot isn't just a gamer; he is a witness to the birth and evolution of the digital interactive era. With a legacy spanning over five decades, his perspective is rooted in the very first sparks of home entertainment.
While most modern "veterans" started in the 90s, Techbot was there on Day One. He began his journey on the first Pong console in 1975, mastering the simplest form of digital physics before graduating to the Atari 2600. This era defined his understanding of core gameplay mechanics across the early consoles of Nintendo and Sega.
As gaming moved online, Techbot transitioned to the PC frontier. Long before Steam existed, he was a fixture on the World Opponent Network (WON). He was one of the early community pillars of the original Team Fortress, taking on the responsibility of running and maintaining TF servers for over a year—building technical expertise that would eventually lead to the founding of the KiLLMachine guild.
Techbot was a Day One adopter when Steam launched in 2003. This decade saw him venturing deep into the MMORPG revolution, exploring the massive worlds of World of Warcraft and several other persistent universes, mastering complex economies and large-scale group coordination.
Today, Techbot’s focus is on depth and narrative. His primary theaters of operation include the classless mechanics of Project Ascension (WoW) and the cinematic storytelling of Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR). While he explores the future of gaming and crypto, he can still be found occasionally on TF2 Skial servers, returning to his competitive roots.
